Cat. #0032032: JULIA SANDERSON

Rather uncommon vintage 8x10-inch sepia-tone portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen, circa 1919 or 1920.  In good condition, with a gentle crease to the upper left-hand border.  Charming Broadway star and singer Julia Sanderson, namesake of the noted theater in Springfield, Massachusetts, gained fame in the musicals of composer Jerome Kern.  She made a handful of silent film appearances.
